By submitting a profile to the Gallery of Women Engineers you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following terms:

I hereby accept the invitation to participate in the Gallery of Women Engineers on the EngineerGirl website, hosted by the National Academy of Engineering(NAE).

The NAE and the National Academy of Sciences recognize the need to protect the privacy of website visitors as well as participants in the Gallery of Women Engineers. I understand that the process for handling questions and requests does not require the release or sharing of any email addresses. I also understand that, if I so desire, I may use this process to share additional contact information (i.e., an email address) within my response to a question or request.

The NAE will remove contact and other personally identifying information from any messages that are posted publicly on the EngineerGirl website. The NAE will not release the email addresses of site visitors.

I give the NAE permission to use and post my approved profile and biography, including photographs, without limitations on the EngineerGirl website (www.engineergirl.org). I also grant NAE the right to crop or otherwise format photographs for use on the site.

I understand that personal information requested from me by the NAE (i.e., e-mail address, address, and phone number) will be used only to facilitate communication between myself and NAE staff and will not be shared with any other organization or used for any other purpose.

I understand that as a Gallery participant I have the option to share additional contact information such as an email address with EngineerGirl visitors in my response to their questions. I acknowledge that the NAE is not responsible for continuing communications outside the context of the EngineerGirl website.

I authorize the NAE to use and post on the EngineerGirl website, without limitations, my response(s) to questions from site visitors. I authorize the NAE to remove contact or other personal information prior to publication on the website.
